We generally meet monthly for technical presentations (2nd Thursday of the month, 6 pm, virtual), and monthly for socializing (varies).  We no longer meet monthly for lunches, if you are interested in reviving this tradition please [http://k-lug.org/About contact an officer].

=== Social #1:  Saturday October 5th ===
Come for a hike via corn maze in Douglas at [http://www.northwoodsorchard.com/home.html Northwoods Orchard].

Saturday October 5th

1 pm

$5/person for the adult corn maze.  $3/kid for the kid corn maze.  Other activities and items for sale, see their website if you're interested in apples, gourds, pumpkins, etc.
=== Virtual Social: Thursday April 11th ===
Come hang out virtually with your favorite geeks, and share what you've been up to or found interesting.

Unfortunately this is a weather dependent activity and even if the rain has cleared off, if there's too much mud it won't be a lot of fun.
6 pm

I'll assess the rain, and if necessary call the farm after they open at 10 am to assess the mud level in the maze. If there's a cancellation, I'll send it out by email by noon (preferably by 11 am, toddler permitting) on Saturday.

Time TBD
If you want to play at the Rabbit Hole on Friday night October 25th too, you can take a pumpkin (one you bought at Northwoods Orchard?) for soldering pumpkin lights and pumpkin carving night; I'm assuming this one is 6 pm.
For anyone who haven't been there before, their house is on the north side of the road up a steep and twisted driveway; park on the road with a parking brake. Walk up the driveway, <strike> up the steps, and ring the doorbell. </strike> into the open garage door, and into the house without needing to ring the doorbell.

=== Upcoming Meeting Crisis! ===
Well, not really a crisis, but we do need some meeting topics (& speakers) for 2013. We'd like to know what you want to see and hear about. Please email Tina or Tim with suggestions for topics. Should we run some previous sessions again (maybe something you really wanted to see but missed out on)? What type of topics are good, what type are bad?  Also see this page for a list of suggested topics http://www.k-lug.org/Meetings
