Olmsted County Fair night! 6 pm.

My experience with going on Monday night last year was that on-site parking was easy and free, some of the food trucks were open (including the milkshake stand), and many of the animals were already present including horse showings. I’ve also been told that many craft projects will already be present, so we can do a scavenger hunt for projects by people we know.

The Public Works Department gave these summary measures of the city-wide efforts: "Over 620 pounds of litter was collected by A Litter Bit Better volunteers during the fall event. An estimated 1.179 volunteers picked up 64 sites that covered many locations around Rochester." This was 12 loads of trash, removed from our environment!
