=== Virtual pandemic social during our technical meeting timeslot:  Thursday October 14th ===
6 pm

[https://meet.jit.si/klugpcig Meeting link here.]

There is no moderator when using this software, so if we get invaded we will have to bail and figure out a different session ID and then also definitely use a password, that'd go out by email and/or wiki update ASAP.

=== Virtual Technical Meeting: Thursday May 21st ===
Agenda - what would you like to do for our virtual board game night in December? Do we want a typical 1 hour slot on our usual 2nd Thursday schedule, since there's only so long we can stare at screens? Or do we want to move to a Friday night and have a longer window, as we would often have historically done in-person?
Note the date change!  One week later than usual.  But it'll still be a Thursday, and still at our usual 6 pm start time. Probably no business portion to start due to virtual format, so presenter content may start closer to the top of the hour than you're used to.  Matt Bruzek will tell us about his Texas experiments in robotic lawn mowing, since their lawn mowing season started well ahead of ours.

Anything else you want to see on the agenda?  Let Tim or Tina know.

So you are surviving the pandemic apocalypse but your lawn still needs to be mowed. Make a robot mow your lawn instead of you! Matt Bruzek will talk about the robot lawn mowers and give some tips and lessons learned from his adventures in robot lawn mowing.

LUG News

We generally meet monthly for technical presentations (2nd Thursday of the month, 6 pm, RCTC), and monthly for socializing (varies). We no longer meet monthly for lunches, if you are interested in reviving this tradition please contact an officer.

Planned Socials: Fall or winter

-Murder mystery. The host needs to buy a kit at a gaming store to get the event started.

-Jim Henderson, "Silicon Valley" documentary

-Rock climbing at Prairie Walls

-Bowlocity laser tag. 5-6 people minimum needed.

-Liquid nitrogen ice cream. This needs a non-Tina organizer. Dennis DeLorme has 2 recipes. We need safety equipment and someone trained enough to keep us from freezing ourselves.

-MAME/foosball/ping pong at ... can't be Tim Massaro's anymore...

-February or July armchair mapping aka road rally event, http://home.earthlink.net/~oldmaltese/

Upcoming Meeting Crisis!

We need some meeting topics (& speakers) for 2019. We'd like to know what you want to see and hear about. Please email Tina with suggestions for topics. Should we run some previous sessions again (maybe something you really wanted to see but missed out on)? What type of topics are good, what type are bad? Also see this page for a list of suggested topics http://www.k-lug.org/Meetings
