October 2005 Minutes

Next meeting is on Thursday 10 Nov. It will be a swap meet. We will meet at 6:00 PM in the Heinz Center, room C-122.

Kevin Neff will be ending his term as president in January. Dean Johnson was nominated.

Bob Techentin gave a presentation on the Tool Command Language (tcl). Eventually, the (evil) PowerPoint file may be posted.

There were WAY more refreshments than people, so we had to eat 3 or 4 cookies each.

As always, we are looking for topics and people willing to present. What are you interested in hearing about? Someone at the meeting expressed interest in Google maps. There was also a suggestion to have a linux sound demo. If you have experience with a topic and would like to give a presentation, send email to neffk ddot ieee dot organization.
