The featured speakers this month are José de Leon of Winona State University and Bonnie Gabrick, a Winona State University student in Management Information Systems. They will talk about iPhone web development with the rapid web-development framework Ruby on Rails. Bonnie and José worked on a database-backed site in Rails, describing the technology inventory in each classroom at Winona State, and developed a mobile version of the website that exists alongside the default site. Like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, two cool technologies that go great together!

Well, not really a crisis, but we do need some meeting topics (& speakers) for 2010. We'd like to know what you want to see and hear about. Please email Tina or Tim with suggestions for topics. Should we run some previous sessions again (maybe something you really wanted to see but missed out on)? We're planning pickleball, and a geocaching hike on a new trail at Northern Heights Park (start on the WSW side and walk clockwise).
