The featured speakers this month are José de Leon of Winona State University and Bonnie Gabrick, a Winona State University student in Management Information Systems. They will talk about iPhone web development with the rapid web-development framework Ruby on Rails. Bonnie and José worked on a database-backed site in Rails, describing the technology inventory in each classroom at Winona State, and developed a mobile version of the website that exists alongside the default site. Like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, two cool technologies that go great together!

Well, not really a crisis, but we do need some meeting topics (& speakers) for 2010. We'd like to know what you want to see and hear about. Please email Tina or Tim with suggestions for topics. Should we run some previous sessions again (maybe something you really wanted to see but missed out on)? Outside Social: Geocaching, Thursday May 21st

Park and walk a park in NE Rochester, where new trails went in last year.

Park east of Churchill Elementary School on Northern Heights Drive NE, looks like it might just be a curbside instead of a lot. We'll walk from there through the two stages of GCANZKD in Northern Heights Park, and decide on the fly if we're taking a path out of the NE side of the park to also grab GC9W5MG.
