| Rockets, water bottle rockets, Lumi, and a picnic!
| |
|
| |
|
| There are enough 2L bottles already for the water bottle rockets. Bring your own rocket+engines for working with our Launchmaster Kevin Arhelger. We have enough Lumi to make 4 red and 16 orange "prints", you need to do homework (prepare a negative/stencil) and bring a light colored shirt and a dark colored bag. Bring a potluck dish to pass, a serving utensil, and your own beverage; Tina will provide the plates, forks, and napkins.

| | Disc golf! This time we're going to Byron. The [https://udisc.com/courses/byron-links-dgc-421X course] is just south of the Byron west stoplight. We waited until fall to let the wild parsnip flower heads (reported location of the 2nd half of the course) quit shedding pollen everywhere; but you still don't want to touch the plant. If the course turns out to still be too unenjoyable, we'll shift a few blocks NW to [https://udisc.com/courses/klingvall-park-kXgO Kingvall Park], and try their disc golf course instead. |

| === Upcoming Meeting Crisis! ===
| |
| Well, not really a crisis, but we do need some meeting topics (& speakers) for 2013. We'd like to know what you want to see and hear about. Please email Tina or Tim with suggestions for topics. Should we run some previous sessions again (maybe something you really wanted to see but missed out on)? What type of topics are good, what type are bad? Also see this page for a list of suggested topics http://www.k-lug.org/Meetings
