We generally meet monthly for technical presentations (2nd Thursday of the month, 6 pm, virtual), and monthly for socializing (varies). We no longer meet monthly for lunches, if you are interested in reviving this tradition please [http://k-lug.org/About contact an officer].
For May, we visit Rochester's Studio Academy School and visit their FIRST league robot. The Rochester Public School Robot Team will demo as well.  This will be a field trip, meet at Studio Academy, and we're currently planning on providing pizza and pop for a donation or fixed fee (e.g. $1/slice), so RSVPs will be requested - email Steve Fox or write on the wiki [http://www.k-lug.org/RSVP here].

[https://www.olmstedcounty.gov/residents/parks-recreation/park-programs Zoo Dazzle (lights only)] at Oxbow Park.  Going to the lights only session allows us to not have to fight traffic backed up to the main road, we only have to give up the treats and activities like visiting with Santa, we still get the lights and the animals.
Day trip to the Cities for the [http://www.smm.org/starwars/ Science Museum's Star Wars exhibit].  Available June 13-August 24.  Tickets are anticipated to need to be purchased in advance due to high demand, so we'd not only need to agree on a day, we'll have to try to get a weekend far enough in advance that we can all get entry tickets for approximately the same time.  If we get 15 or more people to commit and turn over money in advance, we can make group reservations - at least one month notice would be required for this as well.<br>


While we're in the Cities for a day, we could also plan to hit up things like [http://www.gameworks.com/locations/minneapolis.php GameWorks] (large video game arcade / bowling/ restaurant), the [http://www.imax.com/minnesota/ IMAX] at the zoo, and/or woods paintball at [http://www.mnpropaintball.com/index.html Pro Paintball].  Other ideas to make a full day of it are welcome.
