Do you have hundreds of bookmarks in your webbrowser?  Are those bookmarks unreachable, impossible to organize, and scroll beyond your screen?  Do you wish that your bookmarks would travel with you - regardless of what computer you are using.  Or, do you want to find uniquely entertaining articles and ideas that will expand your knowledge?  Social Bookmarking is for you!


Social Bookmarking has exploded in the past few years with a variety of services that each cater to different needs of their users.  This presentation will introduce you to three popular, and very different, social bookmarking sites "reddit.com", "digg.com", and "del.icio.us".  You will learn what you can do at each free service and how to apply it to your own internet use.  The community surrounding these services and plugins for your webbrowser to make them more accessible will be covered.

Disc golf! This time we're going to Byron.  The [https://udisc.com/courses/byron-links-dgc-421X course] is just south of the Byron west stoplight.  We waited until fall to let the wild parsnip flower heads (reported location of the 2nd half of the course) quit shedding pollen everywhere; but you still don't want to touch the plant.  If the course turns out to still be too unenjoyable, we'll shift a few blocks NW to [https://udisc.com/courses/klingvall-park-kXgO Kingvall Park], and try their disc golf course instead.
We will be trying to nail down a date to visit Star Wars at the science museum
Current proposal is a Friday afternoon, possibly July 11th or 18th

Day trip to the Cities for the [http://www.smm.org/starwars/ Science Museum's Star Wars exhibit].  Available June 13-August 24.  Tickets are anticipated to need to be purchased in advance due to high demand, so we'd not only need to agree on a day, we'll have to try to get a weekend far enough in advance that we can all get entry tickets for approximately the same time.  If we get 15 or more people to commit and turn over money in advance, we can make group reservations - at least one month notice would be required for this as well.<br>


While we're in the Cities for a day, we could also plan to hit up things like [http://www.gameworks.com/locations/minneapolis.php GameWorks] (large video game arcade / bowling/ restaurant), the [http://www.imax.com/minnesota/ IMAX] at the zoo, and/or woods paintball at [http://www.mnpropaintball.com/index.html Pro Paintball].  Other ideas to make a full day of it are welcome.

Outside Social: Thursday September 17th
