We generally meet monthly for technical presentations (2nd Thursday of the month, 6 pm, virtual), and monthly for socializing (varies).  We no longer meet monthly for lunches, if you are interested in reviving this tradition please [http://k-lug.org/About contact an officer].
The email list is down as of at least Thursday July 3rd, not sure when it's coming back up, so you may not be receiving notifications of the upcoming events (below).  Please mark them on your calendars.

You've seen the Wacom drivers every time you boot or install Linux, come see what that device is about in person. Jon Tollefson will demonstrate the entry level drawing tablet from http://Wacom.com/bamboo called Bamboo (running on Linux even).

Express yourself more clearly when preparing slide presentations, sketching out new ideas and editing documents. Bamboo gives you intuitive pen-point precision when working with Mac, PC or Linux.

This park has a nice playground for the littles, picnic tables, and room to fly kites, as well as usually being unpopulated.  The lack of trees and being on top of a hill mean it's pretty bug free (not that we should hopefully have to worry about that in April) even when there's not enough breeze to fly the kites.

Please bring your family and friends who might want to hang out.  Bring your own kites. If you don't want to sit at the picnic tables or on the playground equipment, bring your own folding chair.  And bring your own beverage.  Since it's April, we're skipping the traditional ice cream.
Star Wars at the Science Museum!  Half or full day trip, departing at 8 am or 1 pm.  See the [http://www.k-lug.org/SocialMeeting Social] page for details, how to purchase your tickets (recommended to purchase in advance) and to sign up for carpooling.  Some of us would like to make a full day of it, what else would you like to do while we're up there?

Outdoor Social: Saturday April 25

In celebration of National Kite Month, bring your kites and come join us as we try to fly them.

Saturday April 25th

Location: That park by Steve Fox's house, officially known as Pine Ridge Estates Park, on Redwood Lane SW.

This park has a nice playground for the littles, picnic tables, and room to fly kites, as well as usually being unpopulated.
