=== Social:  August TBD ===
Ideas can be found [http://www.k-lug.org/SocialMeeting here] or invent your own.  What would you like to do?  Tell Tina.  Suggestions submitted for August so far include:

=== Technical Meeting: Thursday July 10th Wacom Bamboo Tablet===
-Canoeing/tubing down the Zumbro River from Zumbro Falls to Hammond, ~2-2.5 hours on the water. $20 per canoe, not sure on the cost for tubing, includes the cost of shuttle.  If you bring your own boat, they'll apparently shuttle you for $5.  They don't take credit cards but they do take checks.  Saturday, Sunday, or a weekday afternoon (last launch ~3 pm?).

'''When:''' Thursday, July 10th, 7:30pm  '''Note special start time'''  If you show up at the normal 6 pm start time, just wander across the road to [http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=East+Park,+Rochester,+MN&ie=UTF8&ll=44.022447,-92.443299&spn=0.007468,0.012124&z=16 East Park] to play frisbee golf with us.
-Roadside clean-up, we could tag along with the Ski Patrol's cleanup if we wanted. This could be a weekend or weekday event.

'''Where:''' RCTC [[http://www.roch.edu/html-spectrum/getting_to_ucr.html|Heinz Center]]. Room HA107. See this [[http://www.rctc.edu/campustour/maps/heintzA.html|building map]]
-Go karts ($5/1 round, not sure about a discount for multiple rounds)
and/or paintball at [http://www.skylineracewayroch.com/index.html Skyline Raceway]. According to their calendar, go karting appears to be available any day of the week.  Paintball only appears to be available 4-7 pm on Fridays, 1-7 pm on Saturdays. If we do this, I'd appreciate an experienced paintballer volunteering to organize this portion. Skyline also has minigolf.

You've seen the Wacom drivers every time you boot or install Linux, come see what that device is about in person. Jon Tollefson will demonstrate the entry level drawing tablet from http://Wacom.com/bamboo called Bamboo (running on Linux even).

Express yourself more clearly when preparing slide presentations, sketching out new ideas and editing documents. Bamboo gives you intuitive pen-point precision when working with Mac, PC or Linux.
